Yamamoto is far less observant than I previously thought, or more capable of being deviously condescending than I would have ever expected.

I think he's a Carrot Ironfoundersson type -- he is actually both. BTW, thanks for all those Yamamoto fic recs. I'm enjoying them very much! (And while I do not actively ship 8059, I have no qualms about reading all the goodfic I can find about them.)

Much better if he actually befriends Tsuna and it's actually a surprise when the betrayal happens.

Oooh, yes. I can't wait for it, really -- if he reverses the traditional Jesus-ing pattern and instead gets more and more villainous the more time he spends hanging out with Tsuna, I may faint with happiness.

Same here, which is amazing because every week I think, "Okay, this is it, he cannot possibly get any more awesome than he is now" and he just proves me wrong, again and again. (Oh man, neither can I. In addition to being awesome, he is also very, very attractive in this chapter. >_>)
