Lol I don't have much to say, I already ranted about this chapter in my own journal. BUT -
I was actually distressed by this chapter. Squalo has pushed his way up to become one of my very special favourites - if he dies, I will cry so much, I swear! >__<
Oh - and mysterious ramen seller man is connected to I-Pin! She mentions him when she comes to the past as TYL I-Pin!
Everyone keeps saying that he won't die because this is Reborn, but. It doesn't stop me from worrying anyway. I DON'T WANT HIM TO DIE. I'm more worried about him than I was about Irie. Somehow the potential death of a character as "VOIIIIIIIIII" as Squalo just seems to be a particularly devastating blow. He's too Squalo to die. ;_;
And HOLY SHIT I can't believe I didn't make that connection before. YOU ARE ONE HUNDRED PERCENT RIGHT, I'm sure of it. He's gotta be I-Pin's boss. MANY I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT CHAPTER NOW.
I think that he might die, actually... I mean, if he's TYL they can always bring him back to life by changing the future. |D Poor Yama if he does die though, losing his kick-ass tutor and his Dad all in one future. ):
LOL I SURE AM. Now I'm hella excited for the next chapter - considering we're going to figure out why I-Pin's ramen man is really smart about everything that's happening. ... Er, hopefully.
But the thing is, they can't change this future--or at least, not if they keep playing by the rules Amano's already set up. It's already been established that the Reborn universe has multiple timelines, so even if they do defeat Byakuran in this time, they can't actually undo anything that's already happened. When they go back to their time, they'll be starting a brand new timeline. But there's nothing they can actually do to restore the current timeline more than they already have (which is why the revelation that TYL!Tsuna is still alive is such a huge relief). They can save the lives of the Arcobaleno and Yamamoto's dad in their time, but this future will become a parallel universe as soon as they go back. (Again, assuming Amano doesn't change the rules on us, which she might decide to do, but hey. XD

Bah - that actually makes sense. But no, that possibly can't happen. There must be some sort of loop hole that they can somehow defeat! Squalo is ... just too cool to kill off this way. I mean, he totally underestimated his opponent; either that, or he knew that he was dead from the start and simply put a loud brave face on. Actually, considering Squalo's character, it was probably the second option, he's not stupid. Xanxus will throw a bitch fit if his second in command sexier-than-thou is killed off. |:
