a. What initially prompted me to write/draw them.

He's my favorite character, lol. It was kind of second-nature as soon as I got into the series. THIS GUY IS AWESOME I HAVE TO WRITE HIM.

b. One of their best traits.

His determination. HE GETS KNOCKED DOWN, BUT HE GETS UP AGAIN~

c. One of their worst traits.

He can be ridiculously narrow-minded and stubborn, which is especially frustrating because he has the potential to be so intelligent otherwise. He's often blinded to some pretty obvious things.

d. How easy/difficult I find it to write/draw the character.

Gokudera is definitely one of the easier characters I've written. For the most part, he's easy to anticipate, and I don't have much trouble getting into his head. It doesn't hurt that I love him so much either; it's always easier to write a character you love.

e. The moment where I feel that I truly captured the character.

I've kind of always liked the first section of Dieci Anni. The part about how much of a shounen retard he is, basically. XD

f. My plans to write/draw ( ... )

...belatedly I realize that should have said third, not first. I have no idea why I typed that. Sigh. XD

a. What initially prompted me to write/draw them.

I always knew that if I ever wrote Haru it would be as part of a 5986 fic. I'd been flirting with an interest in GokuHaru for a while, and these ideas kept popping into my head about how it might happen in canon. I knew it would have to be a slow, long-term thing, and I kept daydreaming these little scenes that might happen to push things along. I debated the idea of writing them as one-shots in my head, but never quite worked up the motivation. Then Mini-Bang was announced, and I thought to myself, why not put the series of one-shots together into a longer fic? The challenge would give me the extra motivation to actually finish it, which I might not otherwise get. So I decided to go for it. o/

b. One of their best traits.Honestly, at this moment I am inclined to say "her adorableness." XD I love everything about her, really--her quirkiness and her stubbornness and her daydreamy/romantic nature--but after weeks of watching increasingly hilarious HaruHaru Dangerious Interview segments ( ... )

YAMAMAMAMAMOTO 8D becuase Amano seems to be trying to get us to forget about him ;_;

YAMA 8D I think Amano's just keeping him unconscious because he's the only one who knows about the Arcobaleno and his reactions would be too telling. WHICH IS HORRIBLY UNFAIR but whatever. :(

a. What initially prompted me to write/draw them.

Second-favorite character! Like Gokudera, it was inevitable. And it doesn't hurt that he is amazingly fun to write.

b. One of their best traits.

He's so happy and enthusiastic about everything. I love characters with that "life's a game, so have fun!" philosophy. And it's not like he's completely oblivious--he knows when to get serious. But most of the time he's happy and cheerful and positive no matter what's going on, and I just think that's awesome.

c. One of their worst traits.

Lack of serious character development. Amano doesn't seem to devote as much time to him as she does to Tsuna and Gokudera, which is a shame because he has so much potential depth as a character, and I'd like to see more of it shown in canon as opposed to fanon. PAY ATTENTION TO HIM dammit.

d. How easy/difficult I ( ... )

DX but it still doesn't make sense that he is the only one down, unless that was one Hell of a wall. :|

c. But less canonical character development means less wasted plot bunnies! X_X The most potential canon we can most easily draw drama out of is his suicide and the death of his father...for now.

D. XD With fanfics that have Yamamoto in them I find the writer usually has it DOWN or...doesn't. But since he's such a "mah, mah" character and his only serious side comes on when he's fighting, I find him hard to write. X_X But I like your introspection of him, I thinks it's really IC.

E. SPEAKING OF IC. THAT FIC WAS SO AWWWWW~ ♥

RYOHEI IS ALSO DOWN, don't forget! :O And who knows, maybe he'll even be the one to bring Yamamoto back around with his healing sun box thingy. It could happen.

Also, you bet it was one hell of a wall.

c. This is true! But I still really want to see more Yama development in canon. I have a feeling it'd give us even more fanfic fodder.

d. Heh, I guess so. Sometimes different characters just click with people, or don't. Though now I'm really curious to know which characters are generally the most easy or difficult for people to write. Sometimes it's hard to tell--like for example, I've always loved this fic of yours, and thought you did a fantastic job with Yamamoto's characterization, even though you said he was difficult. So I guess it's not always obvious. XD

e. Ahh what thank you. ♥ ♥

a. What initially prompted me to write/draw them.

Heh, actually, it was that I had written a Gokudera-centric fic and a Yamamoto-centric fic (well, it was kind of 8059 gen but leaning more toward Yama), and since Tsuna was my THIRD FAVORITE, I felt like I owed him one too. XD

b. One of their best traits.

His heart. That even though he's terrified of the world in general and hopelessly unsure of himself, he's still willing to fight for the people he loves. I've always loved Tsuna for being a "weak" character who's still a hero in spite of that. (In fact, I actually like normal Tsuna more than Dying Will Tsuna for that reason.)

c. One of their worst traits.

He's whiny and clumsy and insecure and wimpy and overreacts to everything, and... er, we could go on for a while.

d. How easy/difficult I find it to write/draw the character.

He's actually one of the more difficult characters for me to write. I can write about him well enough, but when I actually try to write him, I tend to struggle a lot. The thing is, he's full of ( ... )
