That aside. I think Amano knows we were expecting Hibari to do something AWESOME! and Amano storytelling has a few modes like, Awesome, Heartfelt, Hilarious, Etc.
Since this is Hibari we are talking about and he always ever so dangerously reaches his AWESOMENESS quota I guess Amano decided to screw Hibari over and went for HILARIOUS. Seriously I mean, Fon didn't have to go do all that stuff and Hibari hardly ever budged an inch. Amano will probably make some convoluted stuff along the way but I really wish that Fon did it for the LULZ.
Because this is Hibari, and he hardly ever loses, so Amano gives us something more rare, Hibari expressions of him losing his $#17. He's always so mellow and when I saw the last panel with Hibari-constipated-face I was like XD because I can count his expressions on my pinky.
Damn you Amano, where's my DinoHibari hijinks? I sad
I have to admit, before I saw it was Fon who was fighting the Varia I was rather pissed that Bel got his watch broken. To me and my fellow Varia RPers, Levi is a foot so I didn't care about him. And I do love Lussu-chan, but he got beaten my Ryohei, so to think he got beaten by Hibari wasn't too difficult. I was just irritated about Bel because as much as I love Hibari, I didn't want that to happen. But once I found out it was Fon who did that I didn't mind. :) And by Bel just getting his watch broken and not beat up shows that he's still quite strong. But anyway--FON!! ♥
Whoa, and that could be pretty cool if Dino took down Skull's team. XD I could see him sneaking off to do that. I WANNA SEE MAMMON IN ADULT FORM! :D
Oh yeah, Fon's fight. Fun times. 8) I didn't see the ending of his curse coming either, which made it all the more hilarious. And Fon rolling around in baby form is nothing short of adorable. <3
It seemed pretty legitimate to me that he beat these three, because hello, Arcobaleno. Granted, Hibari must be very frustrated at this point. *cough*The next chapters are probably not going to help.*cough* Your track record is pure win. 8D
And of course, BIKE! I'm not positive it was Yamamoto's idea to use bombs, but he clearly enjoyed it more than Gokudera did, which in itself says quite a lot about his sanity. This scene alone arguably trumps the Future Arc motorbikes
