Wow, busy day! As I said yesterday, went to the Doctor Who Exhibition - pictures when I'm not nearly catatonic - the Science Museum and the Wicked cast change. I hailed and travelled in my first black cab :D

But yes, am sure I mentioned the CONSTANT ROSE MUSIC in my review but maybe I forgot. Because it was rather blatant... or maybe we're just rather hallucinatory.
If it was the Rose theme, I'm sure it was intentional, whatever that means. I don't notice these things.
I loved the episode, didn't really understand the River/Doctor timeline with the possible paradoxes but hey, if I don't think about these things too much I usually enjoy the episodes more.
Some people are hating on SM because of what "he did" to Donna, but I thought it was a perfect way to see Donna away from the Doctor, literally in her own little perfect world and see her life how it would have been if she got to make all the choices. She wants an uncomplicated life with a family, the total opposite of what she has now. So really, I think this episode said a lot more about Donna that was relevant to now than it did about the Doctor. We don't know how far along in the future River is or what he has to go through to get to that stage in his life and we probably never will.
So yes bittersweet and still a little bit creepy (I felt bad for the shadows, is that wrong?).

BRIAN MAY! Didn't Anna about die when she noticed that? Cause she's the Queen-obsessed, right?

I felt really bad for the shadows too. It made me feel really uncomfortable to think about them being made into books at the whim of man.
