There are "professionals" in my office who are unable to correctly use "to" and "too". An example: "K, we need too pick up a sample from the customer". OR "Please output too size." OR "There is to much work ( Read more... )

ZOMG WORD!!!1!1! Srsly. It's like they decided that all that "apostrophes indication contractions and possessives, never plurals" stuff was just so much blather, that the correct use of "to" and "too" (and heaven help me, "two") is open to interpretation, and that commas are entirely optional. Hmmm...I feel a rant coming on....

Also,

I was directed here by serenity_valley. It's so annoying. Anyone can slip up once or twice, but when it's consistent, that's super annoying. I have a coworker who says hisself, like "he needs to do that hisself and not ask anyone else."

Eeeew.

I completely agree! I know I slip up (especially when I'm in a hurry), but these people really don't understand the difference.

I have a coworker who says "otherwords", instead of otherwise.

...like fingernails on a chalkboard.
