so, apparently, the new international trailer for X-Men: First Class has actual footage of Kevin Bacon's Sebastian Shaw (and let me not even begin my lament over that bit of casting) using his power. It's really not as exciting as this article at Comic Book Resources makes it sound.

Not gonna lie, when I first saw that split second of Shaw using his power, I thought 'what's Gideon Graves doing in this film?' Then I clicked on the article and went OHHHH.

And I'm just really excited for Banshee. Banshee and McAvoy are pretty much the two reasons why I wanna see this film.

Banshee is probably the only reason i'm interested. i don't think i'll spend money on a movie ticket, as the movie franchise has made me rather sad for my beloved X-Men, but it does look worth a red box.

If this movie was solely about Xavier and Magneto, I'd be far more interested honestly. I'm not keen on the changes to the 'First Class' that they made and it just...I dunno. The X-Men Movie-verse is so damn wonky, I hate it. Nothing makes any sense whatsoever. :\

oh yeah, if it was just about the two of them i would have no reservations at all. but i'm not fond of the changes they've made either and pretty much universally hate X-Men movieverse. (except for Hugh Jackman, but i pretty much just love him.)
