Oh wow,
What a rollercoaster.
I absoluelty loved it.
Jon and captian? WIN!!
I felt so bad for Spencer,
But then Tom tried which made me happy.
I absoluelty loved this.
So cute kind of and real and just amazing.
I never did like that Mike Carden.
I kind of am hating on William now too.
Did I meantion I absoluelty loved it?
Cause I did. It's amazing.

Jon and the Captain was my favourite part of the story. I like Jon being a total dudebro sometimes. Tom is kind of a shithead in this, but even a shithead sometimes gets it right, and that's what he did in the end.

On that note, I don't actually hate Mike or Bill, I really like them and I think what they had to do was really hard, but I'm also pretty sure they did it with the best of intentions, so. Anyway, I'm glad you liked it, glad you didn't think it dragged on too long or anything like that.

I. Wow. I really, really enjoyed this, because in my opinion, even though it's a sore spot in bandom, Tom's departure from TAI and the aftermath is really not explored enough in fics. There's always references, but hardly anything written specifically about it. And it's nice to see it well-written too!

I may also have a soft spot for Mike/Tom. Just sayin'.

I agree! It's not explored nearly enough! I like the idea of Tom maybe falling apart a lot after the whole thing with TAI, because I'm pretty sure that would be just like the loss of a limb for him. Either way, thank you for reading and enjoying!

this hurts like a mofo but wow, am I glad I read it. it was devastating watching Tom in his downwards spiral and Spencer, clearly wanting to help. and it was satisfying, getting to the ending after the long journey.
