I want to win the mega-millions lottery tonight.

I was going to say I "need" to win it - but it wouldn't be completely truthful.

It sure would help a lot though. Things have been sucking financially lately.

So ... yesterday I headed over to my favorite yarn store in Centreville. And ... it's for saleAs far as I know, they're not going out of business. I started the 6 week basic training for the sprint triathlon I'm going to do in April 2010. After this will be the real athletic training for 12 to 14 weeks.

This is going sound weird ... but I'm excited.

My niece C gave birth to her son (my great-nephew ... or just 'nephew' to me) ..... Victor Jr. Sanchez was born this morning at 8:26am, weighing 9lbs 7oz and 20 inches long! Momma, Daddy and baby are all well. And our family, is just thrilled!

I'm so happy :)

Tomorrow lapsedagnostic and I take princesswidgeon to college tomorrow. We're mostly packed. I'm getting up to make her one of her favorite dinners in a few minutes ... chicken paprika with spaetzle (my good german girl ( Read more... )

So, I'm off to one of my few 'right of passage' moments as an adult.... I'm about to take my girl to college orientation in about 20 minutes. I'm both excited and intimidated. Which ... all in all ... is probably a good thing.
