I know how failing a physics test must feel. I never failed any of my classes, and I think I only got two or three Cs ever. I did fail one or two minor tests though. I was also really shocked when I got a 15/20 for my design class last year, because I thought that was one of my best classes (I got three 17/20s and one 20/20 for my other classes), and because I'm a very dedicated student and put a LOT of time and effort into all of my assignments. I made a calendar and a set of recipe cards for my two major assignments. I think if I got a 15, then half of my class failed, because they hardly turned up to class and didn't turn in half of their assignments

Whoa! Your projects look incredible! I don't have any talent for that kind of thing, so I'm constantly impressed by people who *are* talented.
I'm the same way about school, even more so this semester.
Sorry about your teacher. I've had a few *awful* TA's. I think I complained about my chem one in LJ in the beginning of the semester. He was trying to explain redox reactions once, which can be fairly complicated if you're learning them for the first time, and he just *makes up* an equation and spends, like, half the discussion time just trying to balance the thing. We learned nothing. Oh, well, tomorrow's the last time I'll ever see his face. Ever! Woo!
Really? So you're finishing the class, or finishing school altogether? What grade/country are you in? I know America has their school year all messed up, in line with our financial year :/
And I know, right? I produced that, and I must admit my backup work (the evidence that I actually did the thing myself, showing my idea development, etc) wasn't mind-blowing, but neither was the help my teacher gave me. Neither my school or the people who assessed our marks (it all gets done interstate because we're too small/lame to do anything ourselves) will tell me exactly what I got for any of my assignments. I had to pay about AU$36 to get them to independently evaluate my marks to make sure no mistakes were made in the marking, and to send me a 'detailed' report of my marks, which was just a single sheet of paper with two or three lines showing what I got for the practical side of things vs. the theory/written stuff. I mean, we did about 6 major pieces for the practical part. The 'report' didn't give any hint of exactly where I lost marks.
No, just the class/semester. Yeah, I'm in America. I'm finishing up my second year of college (university?). I'm in Florida, very near Disney World, and even within the US, my school gets out really early. My last day is next Friday
