It's cold. And rainy. I love rain, but not when it's cold and I walk to and from the bus stop every day. It was so nice not all that long ago, I was wearing a t-shirt without shivering. I want spring! But not summer. I hate summer too ( Read more... )

I remembered the last time I was at your I believe you were living with your brother weren'rt you? Or do I have that wrong? Either way, nothing wrong with living with the parents. I still live with mine {until my sister and I move to Arizona}.

Ah, Vegas...I miss going. We must go back to Vegas sometime. Maybe I'll come and harrass you. LOL...Just kidding. I wouldn't do that. But I know how it is with a job you don't love. I am like that where I work.

But yay, yaoi mangas are nice...I love em...

I lived next to my brother for a year, in the same complex as him for another year... and now I've moved my parents in with me so we can all save money (I wasn't using the spare room anyway). Alone was nice, but the extra cash is nicer.

Rach, wanted to tell you if you didn't know: Harrah's is closing down the Call Center and moving it to the Phillipines. I heard no definite date yet but it will be soon; they are training people there now. We expect it to be an abrupt switch like they usually do things. Start hitting places now!

Actually, it's an overflow center that's replacing the one in San Antonio. We've known about it for months. But thanks for the FYI.

No hun, this is what James told me; you remember him, right? Harrah's is preparing to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy so it can rearrange it's debt and obligations. One of the things filing does is remove them from any obligation to Union contracts. They aren't training people there for overflow, they will simply shut the center down and switch the calls to there. They will paying the people there something like $10 a day to work, saving a fortune compared what it costs in Vegas.
They are currently trying to sell off IP; they transferred "Legends" away because it actually makes money and didn't want to lose it.

Well, not much I can do about it either way. If it happens, it happens. No point sweating over it.
