So, Gaia Online has been tracking the development of its new evolving items through site-wide announcements of late. I was traipsing through the forums, when I come across a topic complaining about them, and I noticed that, in doing so, the person in question had made a not-so-subtle jab at one of my favorite book series, which Gaia has recently ( Read more... )

People on Gaia are stupid. Although I do love flaming at them.

Mostly because they subsequently ask me to define words like, oh, "subsequently."

It actually got a HUGE response from people defending the books (and the items, because that was the main point of the thread, but yeah. >>). It was on its first page when I left for my evening class, and it had racked up eleven by the time I got back four hours later, all or most of which I believe were defending the books or the items.

Gaia has stupid people, yes, but it also has smart people. Just like real life. :3

Gaia exaggerates the stupid people. I see more of them on Gaia than I ever do in real life.

I had a Yu-Gi-Oh player call me a Nazi and a KKK supporter because I pointed out why I didn't like YGO, why I played Magic and corrected her history.

Guess I've been lucky then. Maybe because I stick mostly to guilds, and venture out into the main forums only occasionally, with the exception of a few select threads.
