I think it'd be nigh impossible to tell if you were aesthetically modding your game in something that is client side. I think what they're focusing on is mods that affect the game server side. Be they malicious or no.
And really, I honestly hope that they will focus more on the gold farming bots and the advertisement bots. Or give us something in game that lets us take care of them ourselves.
Oh, I have no illusions that I'd actually get banned for modding my music. Just the fact that I can based on the TOS is more than a little off-putting.
Based on what I'm seeing in this thread, there are mods for things like 100% success rates on enchants and blacksmithing, instant 99% for Ranged Attacks, and things like that. That's the sort of thing I would agree with them for banning over. Though the fact that all of these things are handled locally and thus are able to be modded makes me lol.
I'm sure it would be a relatively simple matter to upgrade their useless captcha system, which would be great. Though it would be greater if something could be done about the spambots, which are just as annoying as the gold farm bots with the added bonus of not being able to be captcha'd under the current system.
