Hee hee. :)
Fun fic!
The second half is all in italics, though. You've got a stray bit of coding somewhere.

(Oh, and the neighbor calling the cops - that was triciabyrne1978's idea. This was so very very very very boring until she came up with that.

Jack's reaction to the male cop, prickly enough to get himself into trouble, sizing him up, conciliatory when absolutely necessary, was also very much in character.
Yay, MajorSamFan Sam & Jack, almost as much fun as prohibited (for the purposes of this ficathon) MajorSamFan Sam/Jack!

I love that word "mercurial" - reminds me of breaking thermometers as a kid and playing with gathering all the mercury up off the floor (before I knew how dangerous it was). ;p
Thanks - they DO have such a weird relationship! All of SG-1 does - Jack and Daniel argue but are arguably best friends. Teal'c came from working for the enemy and slipped back into it from brainwashing - how DO the rest of SG-1 trust him so implicitly? And Sam - she of the black widow syndrome; how do they not all worry they'll die (again) if they love her... LOL (Not to mention how does Daniel not paint her with the same brush as Jack, military-perspectively speaking.)
Jack's reaction...was also very much in character.
THANKS! I think of any SG characters I do get Sam and Jack best (not to mention Sam/Jack ;p) and have the easiest time writing them.

Just So You Know:
I seldom comment on the fics I read, because I have a hypercritical inner editor who chews through the restraints all too often. It's the result of growing up with an English prof for a dad, I guess. The results are seldom pretty. Please, therefore, excuse my lurking tendencies. I am learning to give feedback more often, though, on the grounds of "Do unto others..."
NOW I'M ***ESPECIALLY*** GRATEFUL FOR THE FEEDBACK!
