Famous people i saw or watched 2000-2009
In the last decade i've been lucky enough to see a few famous faces in plays, at concerts and at conventions. Here are the ones I remembered and liked!!
2000
The first convention i ever went to was in 2000 it was attended by Kevin Smith who played Ares in Xena, Dean O'Gorman who played Homer in Xena and Willa O'Neill who played Gabrielle's sister Lilla in xena.
Another Xena Con, this time attended by Hudson Leick - Callisto, Tim Omundson - Eli, Adrienne Wilkinson - Livia/Eve, Ted Raimi - Joxer and Paris Jefferson - Athena
2001
I got a bit hooked on Xena Cons and this was the 3rd. Hudson Lieck - Callisto, Karl Urban -Cupid/Caesar, Adrienne Wilkinson - Livia/Eve, Ted Raimi - Joxer and William Gregory Lee - Virgil all attended.
This was I think the 2nd or 3rd time i had been somewhere to see Jeri Ryan and she never came. Instead i saw Roxan Dawson who played B'Elana and Garrett Wang who played Ensign Kim in Star Trek: Voyager and Levar Burtan who played Laforge in The Next Generation.
2002
2002 was the first time i saw A-ha. This time was in the Albert Hall in London.
I went to Pages Bar in London to an event with Gigi Edgley, she was absolutely awesome. a week or so later she was at another event in London which i also went to.
2004
In 2004 I saw Christian Slater in One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest. Who'd have thought i'd ever see one of my biggest man!crushes in his pants?!
Belinda Carlisle was one of my favorites when I was younger and when she came to my town I had to go!!
Saw p!nk at wembley arena and it was freakin' awesome!!
2005
Saw A-ha again in 2005 in Brighton as great as they were in London.
Tina Dico was the support act at the above A-ha concert in Brighton and thank goodness she kept mentioning the name of her CDbecause otherwise i wouldn't have gotten addicted!
I saw Sally Hawkins twice in 2005 in The House of Bernada Alba at he National Theatre, London. She is absolutely fantastic.
2006
I saw Shawn Colvin in London she was pretty fab.
Jack Savoretti was the support for Shawn Colvin, his CD is great i just wish he'd do another!
Blackbird was a very strange play, not something i'd see again, but i only went to see it for Jodhi May.
I went to see The Crucible for Elaine Cassidy
Idina Menzel is the best Elphaba in Wicked, so far none of the other Elphaba's have come close for me. I also saw her at the beginning of 2007.
2007
Saint Joan was a fantastic play and Anne Marie Duff was great in it.
2008
Jemima Rooper in the play Her Naked Skin
2009
At the London Film and Comic Con I saw Keeley Hawes from Ashes to Ashes, Jewel Staite from firefly and Anna Walton from Hellboy 2. All very lovely!
I was lucky enough to win tickets to see A-ha again at the itunes festival at the roundhouse in London. As superb as ever!
I met Katie McGrath and Angel Coulby from Merlin and Terry Farrel from Star Trek DS9 at the London MCM Expo. Terry Farrel has to be the nicest person i've met.
