Thank you for this guide; I personally struggle a lot with close crops because I think I never convey any emotion when I cut the cap, but I think I'll give them another shot following your guidelines!

Nope, I just hit the random button until I get something that works. Otherwise I'm fiddling with the controls and it never works how I want it to lol

Your close crops always make me so jealous! I can never seem to get them right, but all of these are so beautiful and perfect looking. It makes me want to try a lot harder with my close crops - negative space seems to me my forte though, lol.

Aw, you can do it! Mine were crap when I started but you keep trying it and eventually you'll get it to work consistently. Good luck! :D
