The instructions suggest adding a felt or flannel lining to turn these into outdoor winter mittens.

Personally, I'd never wear these as outdoor mittens, but I would consider lining these with flannel or some other thick fabric to increase their insulation to use as oven mitts.  My own preference would be to make these a bit longer, so that they end ( Read more... )
