The kitty in the picture with the man in the overalls reminds me of my own little darling Lola (R.I.P.)...furry, semi-long hair tabby.

Funny you should ask! The poor thing was so freaked out by the tree the first Christmas she came to live with me! I lived in a studio apt at the time and had the tree in the main room where I also slept. She ALWAYS slept on the bed with me, but after that tree arrived, she stayed away for over a week and hid in the kitchen!

I think it's because it's easier to get dogs dressed up and/or in "cute" or funny poses than cats...I have 3 postings of Christmas dogs coming up...
