As I stated when I first started posting this group of pictures, we all expect a certain level of strangeness/weirdness/creepiness in Halloween costumes...it's just that these step over the line, often obviously not intending to be so, which just adds to the creepiness...

Like, what's with the girl in the first picture? There are no openings for eyes, nose, or mouth in whatever she has on her head, hopefully it's at least open around the neck. I mean, what parent thought it was a good idea to put something that restricted both eyesight AND breathing on their child???? :-o

that's an AWESOEM cat mask! That second to the last pic, WTF is that costume! LOL In the smae photo.. the guy on the left with the "flying banana" over his crotch.. ROTFLMAO

Who knows? It sort of looks like the big black bag masks that the school class was wearing in my post of the other day, except those obviously had eyes.

All of the photos with what I term "sack masks" seem to be from about the same era, roughly the 1920's and 30s, so perhaps there may have been a popular comic strip character back then that looked like that?

Yes, I like the cat and the bird mask...very nice actually.
