Killing is easy. It's choosing not to kill that's hard.

I don't know what you mean by "Infected," but once someone has been taken over so completely that there's not chance of them ever coming back, you don't have a choice. You do what you have to, to protect the ones who are still alive.

And yeah, that'll eat at you. But you did what was right.

The Infected were people who'd succumbed to a virus in my world. It spread through bodily fluids-- blood, primarily-- and it was highly contagious. One drop of their blood gets into your system and you're finished. It takes about 30 seconds for you to become one of them... Most of the people here call them 'zombies,' but they're not like in the films. They're much faster, much more vicious, and they only live to spread the virus.

Anyway. My men were killed by a man aiding them, in the end.
