Yes - I actually went and searched my bookcases. Now I have even more reason to E. Nesbitt - I've been meaning to for years.

I actually had a lot of trouble with F as well - the book I listed is one I've read many times, but it's a cheap paperback Western that I consider a guilty pleasure. I got it in a big bag of books my English teacher was getting rid of when I was in high school. I was voraciously reading anything and everything then, so despite no real interest in Westerns, I read it anyway and it somehow has stayed with me.

Oh, I had lots of F's. Before I went for Forest, I'd already listed Dick Francis.

I also wanted C. S. Forester, Henry Fielding and I did think of F. Scott Fitzgerald, although technically I've never finished any of his!
