Having many friends into the funky colors, and myself not being able to stay my natural muddy blonde, I'd say that it's definitely possible. I ran into someone at Dragon*Con who had dark purple/maroon in her hair. I could barely tell that it was there at all, except that the light hit it just right, but it was very artfully done

Er....not sure if I count, but I did make a request to both you and Thea-san.^^; I mentioned the reissued Slayers main novels (with new covers) as well. Also, if you can possibly find the Slayers Premium manga (by Tommy Otsuka, ISBN4-04-712298-X), that would really, really rock. I am debating requesting Knight of Aqualord, but this is probably way too much. Here's the info just in case you can't find ANY of the other stuff (if you can, don't bother w/ KoA).

First time I ever bleached/highlighted my hair was August this year. :] And then I those streaks died blue. :D

My mom did it for me at the salon she works at, and in my experience, it faded out in roughly a week. ;~; My hair was a wierd green for a while before all the dye left and they're now pure bleached highlights...the blue doesn't show up against dark hair all tha tmuch unless the light hits it just right. I had some on my front bangs and I still couldn't tell they were there for the longest time...

Well, I hope your hair fairs better than mine. :T (We re-dyed it a second time too, and it still faded out...)

You know...the things I want wouldn't really class as a gift, but I wouldn't be able to pay you back until around...oh, December, or the beginning of next year. [Because I am a sad penniless person right now] But I WILL pay you back if you can pick them up.

That having been said, I would LOVE one of those multi-tier [2-3 tiers is good] stacking bento boxes. Something in a neutral color like blue, red, black etc. because it will be used for Derrick prolly, and for me on occasion. [hence why I'm not asking for it as a gift] Something large enough to hold a sandwich in one of the tiers is perfect, larger is ok too. These tend to run between $12-18 here, not sure how much they'd be there but I imagine there would be no shipping or import fees, so overall it's prolly cheaper.
