Cold tea

My mom told me a way to make cold tea (not ice tea) that they were using in Taiwan since it's so hot, no one want to make normal tea (and yet they're all such tea addicts that they can't stop drinking it. *amused*).

It's kinda weird with friends, you know? I was in a similar situation with a friend of mine in college . . . to her friendship meant sharing confidences, whereas I was a great deal more self-contained and didn't particularly need to. It used to cause us problems . . . I dealt with it by occasionally having a good cry in her presence, which (bizarrely) made her feel better about how we were relating. We just . . . were different people, so we had different expectations and needs regarding our friendship.
