This is going to sound rather obvious, but unless things get worse* for you, life gets better. Around my 25th year, I had a quarter-life crisis about my career and other personal decisions I made when I was younger. My friend, who went through something similar, called it the "dark period." Now I'm about to turn 29 and my life is definitely better than it was when I was 25. I've got a better job, I'm in better physical health, and I'm just plain happier.
