life fails sometimes
I was supposed to go watch Tristan Prettyman with the sister today but work got in the way. God, I seriously hate it more and more everyday. I am just waiting for some jobs to close before I go talk to my boss and tell him I am dunzo. As much as I love the people that I work with, I just don't see any room for growth anymore and I am only 20. I basically do everything in that mom and pop operation we've got going on and it's challenging sometimes but I know the owner is not expanding anytime soon. There is no budget for it and I don't think he's capable of doing so. He wants to be involved in every little detail and cannot trust anyone to do their job right. These empires, they work as a team and he definitely won't realize that in this lifetime. I want out by the end of July and hopefully I'll have something rolling on my photography by then. Fuck, I'll go to b school if all else fails.
On a lighter note..
Masha did a photoshoot for Tag Heuer and I liked one photo from the entire set that was released yesterday. It's not because she looked bad or wasn't fierce enough in them. Who needs to be fierce when the ad campaign couldn't get anymore.. monotonous? God, Tag's ad team seriously needs to change it now. It has looked like that for the past, I don't know, 10 decades? I know, I know, it's their trademark and their more established than the planet earth so they really don't need to give effort into their ads but damn that black and blue needs to go ASAP! I wish watch companies would be a little more creative and less robotic. Then, see the 16-25 demographic actually spend for watches more than ever before. I am not a big watch person but if they put some color or sexy into their campaigns then maybe I'd be one.
Damn. My heart is still in Indian Wells! Masha and Ana showed marks of being great champions today. Finding a way to win even though you're having an off day. I hope Nicole Vaidisova was taking notes and not smashing her racquets somewhere.
I need to get some sleep. I think about the most random things when I am tired.
