I managed to catch the second half last night and damn, my ship sense was tingling and I spent a good two hours scouring the internet to see if someone (anyone) had part one up.

Only to discover that it didn't matter.

The last five minutes fixed it for me.

In the last ten minutes, everyone in the post I was watching with started getting progressively more and more panicked. We were already in the throws of RAAAAGE when Hatter showed up and made everything better. It was hilarious how quickly everyone did a 180 to squeeing.

ROTFLMAO!!!! This post actually made me snurgle wine through my nose. I haven't laughed so hard in ages. Every time I reread the last line I start guffawing hysterically.

Okay, now I have yet to actually watch Alice, having been unable to tune in and therefore waiting for Sunday's airing. But after TinMan, I wanted a little ressurance, so I went looking for a little spoilage. Besides making me absolutely die of laughter, this post has assured me that I will not be wasting four hours of my life on hoping for a ship that never materializes.

I really needed to laugh tonight! Thank you!

Lol, you're welcome! Seriously, the watch-a-long post was the most fun I had in AGES. In the last ten minutes, we were losing our minds like "SYFY STOP BEING SUCH A COCKBLOCKING WHORE" "IF THEY DON'T HOOK UP I AM GOING TO RAISE HELL" "HEADS ARE GOING TO ROLL I SWEAR" "SERIOUSLY WTF THERE IS LIKE THREE MINUTES LEFT". And then he came after her and there was a great cry of "OMG YESSSSSSSSSS" and much rejoicing throughout the land.

I so feel you about Tin Man. I was waiting for DG to jump Cain right up until the last second. Then the credits started rolling and I was like "WHAT?! >:( NOT COOL, SCI-FI. YOU CAN'T TEASE A SHIP FOR SIX HOURS AND NOT DELIVER THE GOODS." I'm pretty sure I actually yelled and threw a pillow at the TV.

Meanwhile, I could watch that last part of Alice on youtube all freaking day. That kiss was perfect. And now all fanfic writers have to worry about is how many excuses they can find to have Alice & Hatter start tearing each other's clothes off.

::sated sigh:: It's so nice to actually have a ship that's canon and fulfilled ON SCREEN. Between being an unrepentant slasher and dedicated Whedonite, (Whedon being the biggest cockblocking whore in history), it's a wonder I can watch television anymore without going mad from frustration.

One of these days, some nice enterprising TV show is going to consummate the totally homoerotic subtext and we're all going to die of shock. Trust me when I say it'll happen long before Joss Whedon lets anybody hook up and stay hooked without spilling angst all over the place

I actually believe that this will happen sooner than you may think. Slash and the fandom force behind it has become something big that showrunners are aware of. Some of them actually play to it - not to the point of making it canon, but giving slashers something to work with anyway. So I don't think it's going to be very long before someone decides to go that extra step and make some slash fen's day.
