What: Amonir keeps his archery skills sharp by taking advantage of the long floating hallway.

Ricardo was drawn by the sound. Archers were getting less common as guns became more widespread, but he still knew the twang of a bow when he heard it and he couldn't help but be a little concerned. It was daytime, yes, but his encounter with Winchester had proven that daytime didn't necessarily mean safety after all. There were no screams or running footsteps-- that was promising-- but he'd best check on it anyway.

He hung back for a moment, pressed against the wall of the dawn room just out of sight. Still no voices. No signs of violence. It didn't even sound like there was more than one person. He stepped forward into the doorway and surveyed the scene.

It was a sign that he had been here with all the strange residents for to long, that he could take this strange blue-skinned man entirely in stride.

"Practice?"

It seemed obvious, but there was no harm in making sure. Besides, he was told that it was rude to just hover silently in the doorway and stare.

Amonir loosed his arrow, striking a bit further from his mark this time. He lowered his bow as he turned to the stranger with a smile. "Indeed. Now is not the time to grow lax in my training."

Though he smiled he was examining Ricardo. His dress, his posture, and even a quick sniff to catch his scent. The man looked human, an older human, and the scar on his forehead seemed to suggest that he was a fighter of some sort or another- an adventurer at least.

"I have only been here a night, but it seems clear that I will need to stay on top of things to survive."
