Akito and Agito didn't have any idea of any meeting going on. Hence why when they returned after a short trip to the kitchen for food to find the couch they'd been crashing on for the long day had been moved, it made them pause, hesitating near the door to the dining room.

Both eyes open tiredly and a little blankly, eyepatch tucked into his pocket, he leaned on the doorframe and tried to make sense of what was going on. He just wanted to sleep again, and hope that when he woke up, he was home. But it looked...organised? So that meant...what? He didn't know...

He spotted Ricardo and Akito rose to awareness enough to recognise him. "Ricardo-san..." he mumbled, blinking tiredly, a hand rising to rub his right eye. What was going on?

Ricardo glanced up at Akito-- or was it Agito? for the first time, the eyepatch was missing. It had addressed him respectfully, though; definitely Akito. He greeted him with a nod.

"If you're looking for a place to sleep, I suggest finding a bedroom. This place is about to be a bit busy."

"What's going on?" he asked, walking to the couch he'd been resting on most of the day and curling up on it. May as well find out before going.

As for finding places...he only remembered one bedroom and it was too close to the Doll Bathroom for his liking. A hand touched his throat lightly, making him shiver. He was not going anywhere near that. "Are there any in the new wing?" the light asked hesitantly. If there was over there, that would be good...

"A gathering of sorts. Don't concern yourself with it."

The last thing he needed was Akito insisting that he could help. There were plenty of capable adults around-- he hoped-- so he had no desire to take on a bunch of minors unless things got desperate. The battlefield was not a playground for brats. In his mind, they were among the protected, not the protectors.

"There are several," he said, watching the brat carefully. "Is something wrong?"

Sad little placeholder post, I'm sorry. :c But I need to run to bed soon. withmyownwill October 7 2011, 05:49:05 UTC
It wasn't a bad idea at all, in Hizashi's opinion--he quite approved, actually. As a trained soldier himself, he well understood the benefits this kind of arrangement would offer, and as a lamb fresh from the slaughter..... well, he could understand the pain of a lack of purpose.

That was why he had gotten to the Parlor early as well, to make sure he was on hand to help out any way he could. He slipped in with a quiet smile and polite nod at Ricardo and Akito, surveying the arrangement with approval. They were certainly ready to start whenever people arrived, but he couldn't help but wonder..... was Akito really old enough for something like this? Was he a fighter himself? He looked like just a civilian child.....

After finding out what was going on, the light had decided he may as well stay to find out what was going on. Agito could fight, and very well at that, but neither or them had any desire to fight the monsters again. But perhaps it would give them something to keep their mind off...that.

Upon seeing Hizashi, Akito smiled in recognition and waved a little. His eyepatch was still off, eyes a little brighter now he had a distraction. "Hizashi-san," he murmured quietly in greeting. The dark watched idly, curious about what would happen here.

Ryuho had come when informed. It seemed reasonable to team up for whatever would come in the night, if the monsters did come every night.

He stood and waited to hear what might be said, showing no more emotion than usual.

Having heard the summons (whether firsthand or otherwise) Rukia found herself intrigued. A little structure would do them all good, she thought, and that was precisely what was on the table here.

She took a position in an armchair, her robes settled around her body just so, sword across her knees. She had either gotten used to the chill in the air and the feeling of being watched, or it had gone away; she wasn't sure which, and she wasn't sure which was the more disturbing prospect. Complacency kills.

Whether Ricardo counted her among the adults or not remained to be seen, but then, Rukia hadn't even considered that her size could mark her as a child. Nevermind the fact that she was older than just about everyone else in the house, she hadn't actually -told- anyone her age.

Entering the room, she offered a small smile as she moved to a vacant chair. If she was going to be here, she may as well make herself useful, particularly if there were children present. After her parents were killed, she'd hoped that she wouldn't have to use her skills anymore; but, if it would save even one person here, she'd do everything in her power.

If she was turned away, she'd just have to do the same thing alone. She was more than capable, she knew this. Things would just be easier if she had someone to collaborate with.
