I won't even pretend to understand how the thunderstorm and 30 second power outage managed to fix my problems with the house internet line. But I am very glad it did.

And I am very glad it was fixed in time to wish mewsgryphoncat a very happy (if belated).

We were lucky with that storm, mailechan - some folks won't have power back 'til Friday. I went out for groceries afterward, and there were trees down and traffic lights out along East-West Highway.

I'm glad you were lucky! We had no power for half of Sunday. It only came back on sometime around 2 in the morning or something.
