I'm still watching the ep, but I can totally agree with the excessive amount of songs. Not enough time between songs to develop dialog.

EDIT: Done with the ep now, and while I didn't cry during the flashbacks, actually I was giggling at some of them, I teared up at the end when Burt's fingers were moving.

I had to skip some of the songs. The whole religion thing put me off. orz

I agree how selfish Finn was! But if you view it in a different light maybe he didn't want to pray for Burt because he knew Kurt didn't want it? I don't know. :/ Otherwise, I just think Kurt deserves better than someone as shallow and naive as Finn.

KURT IS SO CUTE. I loved the flashback between him and his father having a tea party. ;3;

I rolled my eyes over certain song selections but I figured it could just be my personal tastes. OTL

You have a good point about Finn, though. :Oa It definitely was a bit unsettling to see some of them pushing their beliefs to Kurt and it's nice that Finn didn't push his.

And, uh, well, whoever gets to be Kurt's boyfriend better be good-looking and nice to him, then. ;3;

I think the reason they didn't have Finn pray for Burt was because if then Burt woke up because of Finn's magic prayers, then it would look like the show was endorsing God being real. But they were trying to keep it open-ended, I guess... Still makes Finn look selfish :
