Not sure what goes on after you click for the next screen but probably a bunch of confirming buttons, anyway. When logging in, you enter your email address, then password.
Everyone normally goes for free accounts, but those with free accounts need to keep in their mind that in the first few months of registering, they'll limit the amount of people watching at certain hours. I think after some point you don't get limits anymore because I haven't gotten any problem watching videos for a very long time.
NicoVideo is a very comment-centric version of Youtube so there are times where there will hundreds of comments flying through the screen at once. To disable viewing comments, to the right of the comment form below the screen, there are two check boxes. The top one is for endless repeat of video-playing, the bottom one is to disable comment viewing.
That said, Final Fantasy 6 fans who are acquainted over Lucky Star should totally check out this video. I love how they remixed the song, too.
