Here's some for you! The shipping is $13 US but it just might be worth having some frivolous knickers... I also found some on ebay.com.au What can I say? I'm a Special Orders clerk for a huge bookstore - I basically find things for people for a living! *facepalm*
It's 42 degrees here if you need some sweater weather. Meh. Of course it's much better weather in Colorado than I ever had growing up in Michigan.
That rocks you still have your Grandmother. I don't have any any grandparents left and my Nana had Alzheimer's for about a decade before she passed. Now my Dad is starting to be quite forgetful and it's making me nervous.
We didn't get a David Tennant either for Christmas! Bad Santa!
You know, I never even thought of looking on eBay, and I will have to check that other link out.
I just thought it hideously unfair that I could find nearly 20 different kinds of Hello Kitty underwear in the 7 - 16yr old girls section, and none in the adults.
And everyone does need frivolous undies.
It's scary when they get forgetful...in my Grandmother's case, it's all her short-term memory that's going, which we know is indicative of some form of dementia, but given her age it's to be somewhat expected. It's still worrying to go out for kunch with her, and have her ask every five minutes what she's eating.
Other than that, though, she's doing really well...she's got lots of backup in place though, which I think makes all the difference.
