Does this "the world as he knew it, abruptly and without fanfare, ended." mean he gets thrown back in time to before his father died? Or will he relive his life over (others too) with out worrying over Pandora (ever knowing it existed?)? Or is it his life starting from The Morning After he talks to Pandora?

To answer your questions; The Future Holds a Lion's Heart is what I've been mentally calling my mini-repeat fic. In a different time and place (one where Kudou Shinichi never existed), Kaito finds Pandora, and that ends as you have just seen here. The world ending was the alternate timeline that was created by Pandora granting this wish - resulting in the DC/MK world that we know and the first story of The Future Holds A Lion's Heart. This first epilogue is actually a step backward.

So basically, Kaito made a wish that ended the world. :D But it's a brighter world now, personal unhappiness aside.

Thanks for clearing that up! And I checked your other posts and saw the one with Kaito meeting Toichi and I didn't review it because I had to clean the living room but, anyway, I loved it and can't wait for more!

Hmm, so it wasn't directly a wish, as in he asked specifically, he vented frustrations and the stone granted it. He probably wouldn't have wished it if he had thought a bit more, huh?

I suppose one could argue that Pandora goaded him into it, but it asked him what he wanted and he told it. >_>

Kaito was being a little sarcastic with most of those requests, he didn't expect it to actually grant those...but it didn't know that.
