after dropping off Rex with Lindsay: Sunday afternoon

Maia collapsed on the sofa after dropping off Rex. Dogs were hard work, she had never realized how much work they really were and Rex...he was really very sweet but so demanding of attention. He insisted on sleeping up on the bed with Maia and Rose, which was cute for the first few minutes until he insisted on sleeping between them

There's was an excited knock on the door and an excited looking Paige on the other side of the door, she was possibly bouncing.

Maia rose from her spot on the sofa and walked over to the door, "Hey Paige" She said as she started to open the door. A bright smile spread across Maia's face to see Paige looking so happy.

She took a deep breath, "he's too young right? I shouldn't be falling for him should I? I'm still married!" then she bounces again, "He's amazing!"

She knows she doesn't have to explain any of this, Mai'll just know like she always does.

Maia raised an eyebrow over the marriage bit. "He walked away from the chance to be with you again, he doesn't deserve you my love." She said and then she smiled "Dearest heart, age is nothing but a number to me and if he makes you this happy." She stood to the side to let Paige step into the apartment, "Then who cares how young as long as he is legal." She winked. "Would you like a drink?"
