I hope everyone had a lovely Feb 14th, however you spent it.
kesteral  and I went to see Urinetown at Hart House (starring drama_freak ) in the afternoon and I spent the rest of the day playing Mario, sewing, beading, or stuffing my face. [I'm going to have to change my diet...]

No noticeable progress on the shoes, but I got things moving on the floofy skirt. Tiers 1

What is the pattern for the skirt? I'm just having trouble picturing it.

I never realized that the multicolored stuff is satin; it didn't look like it in photos. Looks really fun, though.

It's a really thin satin - more like chiffon with a shiny side. And yoryu texture. Really pretty (comes in bright green/purple and black/pink as well as the brown/purple) but hellish to try to cut and sew straight.
