Granted, the "fix" for Compy was to remove most of my RAM which was apparently the source of my problems, so it's REALLY REALLY SLOW, but it's here and that's what counts. Good God, LJ, I've missed you. <3

I didn't make it to DTAC either due to a firearms safety course that weekend, but I don't feel like I missed too much. Most of the older crowd seemed absent.

I don't suppose they would let you listen to an iPod or a radio or something while you work would they?

I've had office/filing jobs where we were allowed to do that as long as we kept it on low enough that we would hear if someone called for us.

In which case I suggest filling it with podcasts (or turn CBC on) and so forth. Music you can tune out, but listening to other folks talk (especially about a topic you find interesting) can give you something to focus on besides your own thoughts.

I picked up your lj on DTAC late, unfortunately. But agreed with Kat, it'd be good to hang with you more. Been going for food or chat with various people after work hours downtown, so there's always bad ideas like that for conversation and hangout like that.
