Yeah I saw that being covered on BBC America last night. I kind of wanted to smack both the news person and the museum person over the head. The news guy was like making a fuss about all the money that went into it 'in this time of economic crisis' or some such. And the museum person kind of fumbled it a bit and talked about making the collection more accessible. It's like money that goes into space you fools!
It's not like it get shot into the space or locked away in a vault somewhere! IT PAYS FOR PEOPLE TO DO WORK.
