A week into unemployment

Alright, so I'm not unemployed per se, but I am without a job for all intents and purposes (at my instigation, so it's cool), and having to wait at least a week more to know whether I'm a student again or what.  WHAT.

I actually did stuff today, so I'm in a goofy mood.  What stuff?  I'M GLAD YOU ASKED.  I got rid of maybe one-tenth of my belongings

Nice to see you pop up here again! I've recently set up Kopete chat, and I'm about to install Ubuntu "Gutsy Gibbon" Linux. Once I put in the DVD thingie...

Wow! None of that means anything to me, but it sounds pretty cool. My knowledge of Linus extends to my best friend's Ubuntu (which, admittedly, I like a lot) and the version of GIMP I just downloaded. It's the poor man's Photoshop and I already love it.

Oh, it's just time to upgrade my Linux box... And a friend turned be back onto chat, which is a good occasional method of communication.
