Huh. It's funny, I hate coming up with subject lines, so I started this tradition ages ago of just writing in there whatever lyric happened to either (1) be playing at that moment, or (b) be stuck in my head (there's always something). In this case though, man is it true.
As of yesterday, I am finished with art history forever. Yay. Since my last paper was about Roman monuments, I decided to buy a murder mystery set in ancient Rome, awesomely titled
See Delphi and Die. So far it is good, and very funny. I recommend!
Work has been pretty awesome lately. Today I was reshelving magazines and comic books, and a coworker, Mike, (who had never said 2 words to me), walked up with another stack of mags. I groaned at them, and he went, "Hey. Hey. I'm gonna take care of this. We'll get through this together." After which I was laughing too hard to actually say anything. Later, Jake didn't deactivate the security thing on a dvd I bought for Casey (deliberately? I don't know, but he threatened to do that very thing before), so I set the alarms off leaving the store.
Additionally, my GM (another Mike) hinted strongly that I should apply for the Cafe supervisor position after grad. I am flattered (and they are desperate), but I can think of many things I'd like better than supervising the Cafe. Plus, I'm not 100% sure if I want to make a career out of Borders at this point. We'll see.
I've got at least one new thing brewing about which I am pretty stoked, but I will say nothing until I know more.
Funny (/scary/rediculous) story:
Making a comic is evidently "terroristic." And so is talking about a gun.
