So I'm trying to live more responsibly towards the world around me and towards my own body. I both of these are part of the same effort, which is ultimately to practice good stewardship of the gifts I have been given

check it out... don't know if you've seen this site (SoMA). if so, ignore the rest and have a good day. if not, i'll tell you it's the Society of Mutual Autopsy, a perfectly unsettling name (leading to a perfectly ironic acronym). their motto is something like "religion without irreverence is dead," and they have an article by bill maher. you'll like it.
