I am going to totally shamelessly plug my friend here - verylisa has just started an online yarn store specifically for delicious sock yarn. I've fondled much of it, it's absolutely wonderful: http://www.yarnomat.com.au
If you go to the blog bit there, she's got promo codes for discounts, as she just started up!
Oh, yarnomat! A friend prodded me in that direction, and now that I've had it confirmed that, like, you click buttons and then yarn appears! on your doorstep! I think I'm going to have to look with much more seriousness.
Especially when there's yarn like this. *dribbles*
Also, yup I'm on ravelry, user name's exactly the same :)
That is a lovely lovely skein of wool! Looks like a gorgeous colour. I undid a skein of wool myself last night (it was all twisted up), but crocheted it into a scarf, since I needed one, and I only had the one skein of remnant (I got it in a little bargain basket in a wool shop in Halifax, Nova Scotia a bazillion months ago, and have never done anything with it). It's lovely though. I'd forgotten how lovely a skein can be.
How exciting!!!!! How many socks will you get out of it, just the one pair?

And yup, the website says 'one average adult pair' which for me and my tiny feet probably means at least three socks... :P
