Lexmas Redux - SV

While working on something else, this bunny bit me. It's not in my usual style (i.e. not silly) but I had to write it to get it out of my system. Warning - unbetad.

oh, how heart-breaking. i got all thrilled there for a minute, hoping for an impossible happy ending. i wonder if lex, as he is on the show now, ever has a moment when he sits like this and misses clark.

I'm not sure if Lex does. He thinks he's right and that his life is moving in the correct direction - which may be part of his tragedy.

Great bunny even though it made me very sad. If only Lex would realize he could still have Clark if he tried.

:Whimpering noises:

Oh, I was so hopeful right up to the end! Oh, poor Lex! Poor Clark! Poor doomed boys. This was gorgeously written, though you have ripped out my heart and stomped on it.

Sorry about the heart ripping and stomping. That's part of why I had to write it to get it out of my system.

Ohhhh...I like the idea of Lex having to regain his memory for Lana and the baby at the expense of his friendship with Clark. That's just heartbreaking!
