But he is a willful brat who makes it a point to act well outside the bounds of any functional society, young Anzu! And he is far too old to be stuck in a state of constant rebellion! I am at my wit's end on how to continue with him as my apprentice...
I am not sure that he has a desire to learn, or if his motives for wanting to use magic are pure.
For one, he constantly contradicts himself. He wanted to learn to control his magic so that Honda would be pleased, and now that there is no Honda and no necklace holding him captive to the demon, he will not tell me why he wants to control his powers. I will stay as his teacher, rather than place others in danger, but how does one motivate a student when the student does not even know why it is they wish to study?
