So, both Ephraim and Eirika now officially have downloadable chapters where they are recruitable in Fire Emblem: Awakening. They come with redesigns, as well.

Wait, her class is really called "Bride"? ... I'm speechless. (Even though the dress is kinda pretty)

A bit, yeah! I wasn't sure it was him at first glance when it came out. But I'm delighted they included that Renais crest thingy he and Eirika have on their official art.

I'm told it's a rough translation, but with that dress. . . yeah.
It's a lovely outfit! It would be nice for, idk, a scene where she got, like, married. And for someone like Diadora, even, I could see it being an almost plausible redesign.

I'll try to keep the embittered tone out to impart Modly Impartiality (TM), but yeah I am. . . not really a fan.

Hey, I didn't even notice that. Though I'm still wondering why that is Renais' crest. It looks like an anchor... And we all know how much sea Renais has...

I have no idea of what the plot of FE13 is, but now I've got this current headcanon of Eirika being snatched away on her wedding day and the DLC is about her fighting her way out. 8D

That, or as Queen, Eirika isn't allowed to go whacking people with swords. >>

More recent info says she's actually not getting married, despite the class. I don't entirely get it myself, but apparently she touched some relic, and it poofed her into the costume. @_@
