ROFL - the sad part is that I think the opening graphics are much more amusing - seeing Ryuk chasing after an apple like a carrot on a stick is priceless. :P

You missed the theater showing of the first live action movie. The second one will show mid-October. Limited showings, only certain theaters and all that. Should be a blast, the first one was hilarious!

Well, it was a dub. And to make it interesting, they used the voice actors from the anime to do the dub. It is extremely funny! I survived it and spent a long time laughing during it. I can't find the second one on the fathom site yet, but while I was up in the bay there was a poster for the second one, said it would be advertised on fathomevents.com shortly for two days in the middle of october. I suppose if you were looking for a more serious movie you'd find it painful, but I think it rocked!

Excellent stuff. We're waiting for Disk 7 - and it'll be done soon. *le sigh*

Have you seen "Black Lagoon" yet? Modern day pirates in the Sea of Japan. Awesome action and characters.

Funimation is releasing the second barrage in the american market! Not sure when they picked it up, but hey!

Yep - already watched Second Barrage Disc 1 - fucking fantastic! Funimation is also releasing our other orphaned shows: When They Cry and Hellsing: Ultimate.

I am so proud of them.
