I think the gods that oldest_song introduced me to BPAL. IMHO, scent is one of the least appreciated of the five senses - and I love exploring it in the same way I explore the sense of taste (wine, beer, coffee, etc ( Read more... )

You need the USB finger-scratch peripheral. They sell it on Tiger Direct for cheap. ;)

Looks like you and I may have similar scent profiles. Have you tried Kephera? Similar to Ra - but with some other citrus/herbal notes. Is nifty.

I agree with you about scent - I love it, too.

There are SO many mixtures here! I just looked at a few - these are the ones that caught my attention:

BLOOD -any scent described with the word "sensuality" looks interesting
BLOOD PEARL -like the idea of a soft, lustrous scent
BEWITCHED because of the green and berry scents
CHIMERA -because it's fiery and has cinnamon!
PARIS -another scent described as "sensual" - looks intriguing
KYOTO - peaceful
MADRID - passionate
ROME - because I love the scents of cypress and juniper

Lagaz gave me the absinthe one a while back, and that's why I usually reek of absinthe at clubs. Not, as some blackguard has suggested in an scurrilous attack on my character, because I drank a load of absinthe.

There's a "La Fee Verte" that is an "Absinthe" variant. Next time you're over, you should raid our scents and see if there's some other things you like.

Also - but, but, but - you *did* drink a load of absinthe. :P

we really should have a get together. i've been collecting BPAL for over 5 years, and i have quite an array of imps. Dee has a bunch too.

Okay. Will discuss with oldest_song and determine a time for a BPAL imp swap, here at the SQU!D. Perhaps staple it to a wine & cheese night. :)
