Yea Mags!

nice ficlet, Perfect for Halloween. A little creepy and sweet at the same time. Loved the lat part with Ginny. You can feel the intimacy.

It would be interesting to see Angelina's view of this. I remember reading a fic once where she hoped Fred would be a Hogwarts Ghost.

Nevertheless, possibly the best point may be "Maybe George needs this too." Maybe George is talking to Fred, maybe he isn't. George may be trying say goodbye in his own way.

I'm glad you liked this! I hadn't really planned this as a Halloween fic, though I'm sure the prompt was picked specifically for this month. I kind of like the idea of George sort of conjuring up Fred's ghost in his own mind, to deal with the grief.

Thanks for commenting!

YAY Mags! So good to see you writing HG again. Come on, you can do more, right?

I really liked the calmness of Harry amidst Ron's franticness. Sleepy! Ginny is just like me...never talk about something important while half-asleep

There's something about writing H/G that's like coming home and putting on my comfiest fleece pants and sweatshirt. There may be more, but as I've been saying the past couple of years, don't hold your breath - this is just what I've been in the mood to write lately. I'm glad you liked this! I really appreciated your comment. :-)

This was good, and I'm not a writer or anything, but it doesn't seem that like being part of that comm is particularaly stressful...
I though that you were no longer in this fandom...perhaps I'm mixing your journal design with another person's?

Oh no, catchmysnitch isn't (or doesn't seem to be) at all stressful. This is kind of a long-running game of sorts between me and r_becca.

LOL! I guess you could say I'm the Brett Favre of H/G - I keep tripping in and out of "retirement." Seriously, I'm not back in the fandom as such, but rather warming up for NaNoWriMo and felt the urge to write some H/G.

I'm very glad you liked this! Thanks for reviewing.

I'm so glad to see not one but two H/G stories from you. You said writing H/G feels like putting on comfy clothes - well, reading an H/G fic of yours is sort of the same way. I actually saved these to read until I needed a surefire pick me up. This was charming. And now that winter is fast upon us, I'm jealous of Harry and Ginny having a fireplace in their bedroom!
