Last night, I dreamt that I was baking cookies in the old flat in G'ville. I had just started mixing the frosting to decorate them when the TARDIS materialized in the living room and Tyler Brunsman emerged wearing a fedora and a long brown coat. Drabble research is awesome.

Yet another reason Paul Cornell is awesome on a stick.  Or not on a stick, as the case may be.

I can't decide if it makes me more awesome or more loserly that I got at least a bit of appreciation out of every single reference he made.  Either way, it certainly makes me geekier.

I had forgotten how exciting Friends of the Library is, especially when you make a day of it with good friends.  For less than $16, I got:

This entertained me muchly.  Predictably.

Setting aside for a moment the one-shot Companions, Adric is unique among the "Children of Time" (as I will probably forever think of them, now*). I had a _great_ week of fun and geekitude.  My friends are seriously the most awesome people ever, and I have spent the entire month constantly being reminded of that fact.
