"You broke me."

It is a measure of how dreadfully exhausted I am that I just watched one of the episodes of Penguins of Madagascar featuring Will Friedle without it ever dawning on me that I should recognize the character's voice.

You're not the only one--in one episode of Green Lantern: The Animated Series, I at one point was pretty sure I recognised John DiMaggio...and Will Friedle COMPLETELY slipped by me. And he was the main baddie!
(...yeah, Friedle as the baddie and DiMaggio as the good guy. Woot.)

One screen's worth of the credits had John DiMaggio, Will Friedle and Tara Strong all together in a row. And I was like, "DANG, it's like a Kim Possible reunion up in here!" (This also marks at least the fourth DC superheroine that Tara Strong has played _that I personally have heard_, alone, and her second GL.)

Since then there's been another episode involving all three characters again...and even _knowing_, I still couldn't actually HEAR Friedle in his character's voice. Either he's getting better or I'm getting worse. Of course, I haven't heard his Terry voice yet or watched any Boy Meets World lately...

I feel certain I must have heard Friedle as a villain at some point... OH, DUH. He was the baddie in an episode of The Batman (my brain, it is not so good with the remembering things these days)

I have now seen the other episode of Penguins with him and I can report that, yeah, it's fairly obvious to a long-time fan that it's him, if said long-time fan also happens to be AWAKE while watching. That said, I agree that he has gotten better at pitching his voice up and down, even if the really distinctive way he enunciates certain things is still a dead giveaway (provided you are not zonked out of your mind ( ... )
