Well, now I've got two:

1.) "Thought: what does Blondie Bear have to say about Lil' Bit's relationship with Sergeant Fury?"

What do YOU have to say about Lil' Bit's relationship with Sergeant Fury? I'm curious.

2.) Forgive me for this question, but I sincerely need to ask it: is there absolutely ANY way in which the BS8 Angel Becomes Possessed By Evil And Kills Giles And Now Everybody Will Be Mad At Him Even Though HE WAS POSSESSED AND HE DIDN'T ACTUALLY DO IT SO IT'S NOT ACTUALLY HIS FAULT* Plot Development ... is not _exactly_ like the Plot Development in Season 2 where the _exact_ same thing happened to a letter except it was Jenny who died this time? When you're actually reading it, does it actually come off as a different twist instead of being basically a retread of the plot threads of season two? (NOTE: I know that Angel is literally possessed this time and that it's not just a question of his curse being broken and his soul being lost, so it's _logistically_ different -- I'm more interested to know if the beats of the ( ... )

Well, that's difficult. I have not been as opposed to it since finding out that BS8 takes place several years AFTER BS7* instead of picking up right after AS5, but I'm still wicked creeped. There's also a bit in "Last Gleaming" where, for seemingly NO REASON** other than having a misleading cover***, Dawn is seriously injured, and it looked for a moment like they had turned her into just another not-quite-human sacrifice to Xander's incredible bad luck. Having made it to the other side of that plot point, I feel better about the fact that they _don't_ seem to be using her just to drive home a point and foment drama. It's also nice to see Dawn getting some respect, and being allowed to be a fully-developed character, _finally_ ( ... )

As for ME blaming Angel, Jenny's death was not his fault,

I just wanted to say that I hope you didn't think my "BUT IT WASN'T ANGEL'S _FAAAAULT_!" rant was directed at anyone but the show's characters themselves -- that is to say, I hope you don't feel like I was giving you a hard time for "blaming" Angel. That footnoted rant of mine was one of those, "this isn't actually directed at YOU but I have a tangentially-related excuse to rant about a topic of interest to me and so I'm gonna do it, even though the rant isn't actually directed at YOU," sort of things. (There's a good chance you realize this already, but I reread my rant and it sounded so, well, ranty that I wanted to make sure you realized it was one of my many, many rants that I rant TO you about but do not actually mean to direct AT you. And, like I said, you may very well already realize that -- but I just didn't see how it could hurt to make sure you DO in fact know that said rant was not directed AT you. Much like my "Of COURSE many people want Angel and Buffy together ( ... )
